Dawon Holly is a middle school wrestler in Missouri who will head to the high school ranks come fall 2016. We would suggest you not bet against his success in high school, based on the dominance he showcased thus far.
That’s Holly slamming an opponent into one of the more brutal pins we’ve seen. You can see his unnamed 14-and-under opponent grimace and hear an audible “Ohhhhh!” as he hits the mat.
Given the ferocity of Holly’s mat performance, perhaps it’s no surprise that he captured the 2016 14-U state title while competing for Team Central Wrestling in the 155-pound weight class. Something tells us he’s got a shot to claim a state title in the same classification if he keeps competing like this, or like the one below.
